Clinical Supervisor

"We go back… and back… and back… through layers of fear, shame, rage, hurt, and negative incantations until we discover the exuberant, unencumbered, delightful, and loveable child that was, and still is, in us." — Melody Beattie

I believe that counseling involves a special kind of interpersonal relationship that has the ability to activate, strengthen, and focus the natural healing abilities of the human mind. I believe in an efficient and sustainable approach to positive change, which provides insight, direction, and relief. I firmly believe that all which lies within your heart of hearts can manifest easily into your life, and I am committed to supporting you through this.

I have a passion for guiding individuals, couples, and children through their journeys to achieve happier, healthier, more fulfilling lives, and create lifelong change. I have previously worked as an elementary school teacher. I enjoyed working with children in the school setting, however I always felt confined to that role of teaching children only what they were sent to school to learn. I found myself struggling with this role, not being able to connect with each child on the level that they needed, and further help them in other areas of their lives. Now I am able to just that!

Whether you are suffering from anxiety, managing transitions and life changes, relationship issues, finding your purpose, mental illness, or you simply want to be a better person, I will help you achieve your goals and work with you for lasting positive outcomes. The relationship between therapist and client is a very important aspect of counseling, and it is within this relationship that healing and change can take place.
